Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to announce the signing of Willie Gibson from Kilmarnock. The 24 year old midfielder was transferred for a nominal fee and has signed a two year contract.

After four seasons at Queen of the South Gibson joined Killie from Dumfries club in January 2007, in a deal which saw Stevie Murray and Jamie Adams join Queens on loan for the rest of the 2006-07 season. His 107 appearances for QOS were followed by 59 at Kilmarnock where he notched five league goals.

Willie has never faced Dunfermline in a competitive game.
