Kyle Allison
Goalkeeper Kyle Allison signed from Inverness Caley Thistle on Wednesday 26th May 2010. The 20 year old was a local lad, born and bred and had been at Inverness for two seasons. Before going north Kyle played with Cowdenbeath who he had joined from Rosyth Civil Service Colts. Unfortunately after one year at East End Park he was released.
He spent almost all of the 2009-10 season on the bench behind Terry Butcher and most of 2010-11 behind Jim McIntyre. Kyle hoped to get a chance of first team football at Dunfermline but Chris Smith hung on to the number one shirt all season. In his one and only appearance for Inverness - in a League Cup game - they won 4-0, so one game, one clean sheet. His only start for Dunfermline was at Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup when Smith was suspended. He was unlucky to lose a late goal that ended the Pars cup hopes. Other appearance was as sub in the 3-0 league win over Stirling Albion.
Dunfermline appearances: 1 (+1 sub).
