Dunfermline v St Johnstone

This Saturday the Pars are on the road again but this time only up the M90 to McDiarmid Park. On 13th August Jim McIntyre's side left Perth following a 1-0 victory.  Andy Kirk was the hero that afternoon when he turned in Jason Thomson's 31st minute drive into the box. This time points mean everything to Dunfermline and they will be trying desperately to emulate that early season success.

St Johnstone Away Milestones

It is now over 16 years and thirteen games since St Johnstone last won a league match at home against the Pars. Since the defeat in November 1995, the Athletic have gained five wins, and eight draws in Perth.  The Saintees did however register a 3-2 home win in the CIS Insurance Cup in October 2003.  Strangely the Perth club has a much better record at East End Park where the Pars have failed to win since October 2001.

Pars go 1-0 up
