Played with Kennoway under the instruction of coach Bob McPhail from age four to ten before going to Celtic from U11 to U15 and joined Dunfermline at U15 level. Represented Fife Schools at U14. Won a winners medal in Dunfermline team that won the Reserve League Cup for season 2009-10.

Signed a professional contract that keeps him at Dunfermline until the end of season 2013-14.
