Stephen Husband

Debut: v Forfar Athletic 28/07/12
Contracted until 31st May 2014

Stephen Husband signed for Dunfermline on 25th July 2012.  The 21 year old midfielder was happy to return to Scotland after two and a half seasons at Blackpool.  He only made four appearances there and his time at Blackpool was interupted by a one month loan at Stockport County in January 2011.  He made five appearances for the Edgeley Park club but was not to play for Blackpool again and was released at the end of season 2011-12.

Jim Jefferies had tracked Stephen's progress after catching his eye in a reserve match between Hearts and Kilmarnock. Stephen had started his career at Dunfermline at Under 12 level.  Gordon Arthur and Chris Candlish were his coaches at Dunfermline but the Kelty boy who attended Beath High School was then to spend three seasons at Cowdenbeath before joining Hearts Youth Academy in July 2007.

Ironically Stephen left Hearts to join Blackpool in February 2010 as Jim Jefferies returned to Tynescasle to replace Csaba László. Now re-united both Stephen and his Manager are looking for the midfielder to rediscover his game at Dunfermline.
