Frequently asked questions for the ticket office

Season Ticket System
For Season 2011/12 DAFC changed their Season Ticket Cards from a barcode system to a chip system to make it more reliable. Every season ticket was replaced during the close season.
Each new season ticket card has a unique serial number which will be read at a chip reader at the Turnstile. A user presents his card to the reader which will beep and a LED will change colour to indicate a successfull read of the card. No beep means you have to re-present the card.
How is my card validated?
Once you have paid for your season ticket your card will become activated.
How can I test it ?
We will have a system available to test your card at the stadium prior to the first few matches. This should ensure that you are confident that your card actually works before going to the turnstile. You will be able to go along to the ticket office during the week to also test your card.
Season Ticket renewals?
You can renew your new season ticket cards via the Ticket Office or online
Can I use the ticket for Friendlies?
Your season ticket is only valid for home league games.
I wish to change my seat?
We will have to charge an admin fee £5 for a new card for you to move to a new position.
What happens if I try and use my card twice ?
When your card is presented at the turnstile it is verified against our database. If you try and present it a second time you will be told that the card has already been used. If thi shappens the turnstile operator will take your card. Please ensure that you keep your card secure.
I have lost my card?
Please inform the ticket office as soon as possible to stop the card being used. You will be given a new card (admin fee £5 payable). We will be able to identify any lost or stolen cards that are presented at the turnsiles.
