On 12 July 2018 Faissal El Bakhtaoui returned to East End Park on a season long loan from Dundee.
Faissal first joined the Pars at the start of the 2012-13 season after impressing Jim Jefferies so much that he signed the his 19 year old French Moroccan trialist. He commented:-
Faissamade his first team debut when he came off the bench on Saturday 23rd February 2013 in the home match v Morton. He had reached the age of 21 by the time he scored on his starting debut against Stenhousemuir on 2nd January 2014.
He went on to make a further 15 starts that season and earned a contract keeping him at East End Park until May 2016.
Faissal was a prolific scorer netting 30 times in the title winning season that won the Pars promotion in April 2016 but left at the end of that season to join Dundee.
