Pars United need supporters to help and coordinate so that events do not conflict,

STRONGER TOGETHER

PARS UNITED was formed to create a unified strategy towards saving Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, which now provides an inclusive solution for all Pars fans to rally round. As stated previously, the future of our proud club is at stake here, so we need everyone to play their part.

Fund Raising

The goodwill that has been demonstrated over the last week alone has been fantastic, with many supporters arranging a range of fund raising initiatives. It is reassuring to see so many supporters galvanising and looking to support DAFC in whatever manner that they can.

What is important though, is that this activity is coordinated so that events do not conflict, and that the maximum impact can be made to promote all events through either: Pars United Facebook page www.facebook.com/parsunited ;  twitter page @ParsUnited ; fans forums; and the DAFC official website.

In addition, a range of "Save the Pars" promotional material including buckets, banners and jackets is available to any fund-raising party for their event.

Can we request that the organisers of any prospective fund raising initiative email parsunited@outlook.com to notify their intentions to run a particular event, and the date it is to take place to avoid any conflicts. In addition, where possible PARS UNITED will try and organise any additional support or volunteers which may be required.

Volunteers

With times being hard for everyone with money so tight, we recognise that it is difficult for every fan to contribute financially, but one area where everyone can contribute is in terms of volunteering.

PARS UNITED are trying to create a master mailing list of volunteers who would be willing to help out with such things as bucket collections or other fund raising commitments. WE PARTICULARLY NEED THE PARS FAMILY TO HELP IN THIS AREA TO REALISE THE FULL POTENTIAL OF FUND-RAISING INITIATIVES.

Can we ask that as many Pars supporters as possible contact us by email parsunited@outlook.com with their name, contact number, location and availability (morning/afternoon/evening), to confirm their willingness to act as a volunteer.

Specialist Help & Assistance

It is already apparent that within the Pars Family we have a number of people with specialist trades, professional skills and particular knowledge.

Can we ask ANY Pars supporter who would be willing to offer their trade, professional or specialist services free of charge to email parsunited@outlook.com with their contact details and nature of the specialist help they would be willing to offer.

Together we are stronger, and stand a far better chance of saving Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, so many thanks in advance for any support you can provide at this time.

Come on Ye Pars!!
