 Jim McIntyre was delighted to finish at home with a win and a few goals:-

"We had our keeper to thank for a couple of good saves in the second half but we controlled most of the game. We didn't play as well second half as we did first in terms of fluency but we always looked a goal threat."

That goal threat was more than demonstrated by Steven Bell who hit the first hat-trick of his professional career:-

"It was fantastic. Gibson's got 10, Cardle's got nine and I think that will be Steven Bell on ten as well. That's a great return from midfielders and wide players; it is a fabulous effort and it was nice to see wee Nicky score as well, nice to score from a corner."

The setpiece had been rehearsed and as well as getting satisfaction from that the Manager was pleased with the professionalism shown by his players:-

"We have got to work our backsides off for the fans and try and get a result. We want to finish as high up as we can, all we can do is win today and win next Saturday and see where we finish.

"We have beat the points tally from last year but we also want to finish as high as we can. I thought the boys approached the game in a positive manner today and Alex Burke was our star player - he moved the ball exceptionally well from side to side. He got up and down and into the box to support David Graham."

The Pars boss was as surprised as everyone else in the ground when Referee Steve Conroy awarded Morton a penalty just before half time.

"At the time I thought it was never a penalty, I thought it was a foul on Calum Woods but he gave the penalty then obviously evened it up. Our penalty didn't look much from where we were either."
