DAFC Season Tickets for 2014/15 are now on sale, available from the Club Shop on 01383 745909 or tickets@dafc.co.uk. In addition, these can be purchased on line at www.parsonline.co.uk

Maintaining the loyalty of season ticket holders is so important to our Club, as it allows us to plan with greater certainty next season particularly with regard to our playing squad. Your ongoing commitment towards supporting the rebuilding of our Club, by renewing your season ticket for next season would be greatly appreciated by everyone connected with our Club.

Club Chairman, Bob Garmory commented "our young footballers performed exceptionally well over the course of the season and were extremely unfortunate not to reach a successful outcome in the play offs, under the astute stewardship of Jim Jefferies and his backroom staff. Despite this disappointment we need to focus on the positive, by remembering we now have the backbone of a very talented squad for many years to come. Sometimes you have to stand still, to take a step forward in future.

The financial climate of the game in Scotland remains extremely challenging for every Club, and DAFC is no exception. Particularly as we will again be operating as a full time Club in the third tier of Scottish Football, which makes planning for the future difficult. However, my fellow directors and I are fully committed to delivering an attractive and successful team on the park. The Management team will continue to be given every support our Club can realistically afford, to allow them to continue their good work".

We continue to try to make the price of the tickets affordable, across a range of age groups and will offer an early pricing discount until Saturday 7th June 2014. In addition, next season we have decided to offer FREE admission to all Under 12's who take a season ticket, if accompanied by an adult. We would also like to acknowledge the tremendous work carried out by our Armed Forces and
Emergency Services, by offering a special six match season ticket which acknowledges the fact that they are not always able to attend matches, in carrying out their public service.

As previously indicated on our Club website, we will unfortunately not be in a position to offer a monthly payment plan for season ticket purchases next season. Supporters can of course use their own credit card facilities to spread the cost, if they so wish. However, if you normally pay for your season ticket by a credit card purely for ease, it would greatly assist our Club if you could possibly arrange to pay by cash or cheque to avoid unnecessary credit handling charges imposed upon our Club by our merchant services provider.

Jim Jefferies further stated " our young players have responded magnificently to the many challenges put in front of them this season, but just fell short at the final hurdle via the lottery of the play offs. With Rangers being in this division it was always going to be hard for our young team. However, as I have said before adversity will hold these young lads in good stead and help develop their character for future life.

We're in this together - the response of the supporters to what we are trying to achieve has been fantastic. We are on the cusp of creating something really special at East End Park, as there is a real sense of togetherness. It is crucial however that we maintain that momentum despite the disappointment of missing out on promotion this year.

I would urge you to back me, the players and the management team by purchasing a Season Ticket for next year to enable us to plan for next season".
