A group of supporters joined us from Holland as they watched Saturday’s win over Greenock Morton. Friends of Pars cult hero Jack de Gier and connected to Pars supporter Robert Stalker through business, we let Nordin from the Blachere Holland depot tell the story of their weekend:
“What started as a friendship turned into a football trip we will never forget. Our group travelled from the Netherlands, originally connected through our friendship with Jack de Gier, currently director at SV Diemen and a former Dunfermline Athletic player. His stories about the club had already sparked our curiosity.
Then, as if it was meant to be, one of us noticed on LinkedIn that his colleague, Robert Stalker, was a partner of Dunfermline Athletic. Coincidence does not exist, right? One message led to another and before we knew it, our trip was planned.
And from the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be special.
More than three hours before kick off, we received an incredibly warm welcome from Christine and the team. Within minutes, we felt less like visitors and more like long lost friends returning home.
Things only got better when club chairman and absolute legend Jim took us on a tour of the stadium. From the boardroom to the pitch and even the dressing rooms, he showed us around with pride, passion and a great sense of humour. You could feel the history of the club in every corner and Jim made sure we experienced all of it.

In the hospitality room, we were completely taken care of by a fantastic team. Great food, great service and even better company. We had such easy and fun conversations with everyone around us that it felt like we had been coming here for years.
Then came the match.
And this is where things got slightly unbelievable. Every single one of us had placed a bet. Goalscorers, final score, you name it. And somehow… we got everything right. Every goal, every detail. As each goal went in, our box erupted. We looked at each other in disbelief, followed by pure celebration. It honestly felt like the script had been written in advance just for us.
After the match, we had the pleasure of meeting club legend Andy Tod during a signing session in our box. A perfect way to end an already unforgettable day, with great stories, photos and plenty of smiles.

By the end of it all, one thing was clear. This was not just a football game. It was a full experience built on passion, pride and genuinely wonderful people.
A huge thank you to Robert Stalker, Jim the chairman, Jimmy at the door, Christine Craig, Mo, Andy T Jean, Margret, Blair and everyone involved in making our time so special. You did not just host us; you made us feel part of something truly unique.”
Everyone at KDM East End Park was thrilled a great day was had by all and we’re sure we’ll see the team from Blachere Holland back soon.
