Charity Policy

Dunfermline Athletic is committed to working with the local community and supporting local charities in addition to working closely with The Samaritans, Home-Start and The Pars Foundation, through the provision of club merchandise, match day tickets and occasionally hospitality packages, all for the purposes of fund raising i.e. for auctions and raffles.

The club may make special provisions for exceptional cases and some national campaigns.

Dunfermline Athletic are proud to support local charities in Dunfermline and surrounding areas. However, due to the high volume of requests, the club unfortunately cannot support all requests.

Prior to the start of each season, the club will organise charity `bucket collections` for selected home games throughout the season with certain nominated charities. The charities will be informed of their designated `bucket collection` date which will allow a platform in which to raise funds for their given charity. Please note that the bucket collections for season 2018-19 are full, and we are not accepting any new requests.

Signed Items:
Signed merchandise, balls and shirts, are also given but these are limited in number and only available at certain times of year.

Process:
All requests must be made in writing to the club, preferably via email to enquiries@dafc.co.uk or in writing to Charity Requests, Dunfermline Athletic, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline KY12 8JL. No telephone requests will be accepted. Written requests, via post or handed into the stadium, must be submitted on the organisation`s official letterhead.

The request should include the following information:

- The organisation`s name, address and charity number (where applicable)
- Contact name, POSTAL ADDRESS and email address as well as contact phone number
- Type of event - some background for the donations request
- Day, Date, Time
- Event location
- Beneficiary of the funds raised

Charity requests will be considered by the club on a fortnightly basis and responded to accordingly (usually via email).

The club cannot guarantee fulfillment of each request due to the high volume we receive however will certainly do our best to meet each requirement.

The club must have at least five week’s notice in advance of the event.
