The two Jims - Leishman and McIntyre have today (Wednesday) made a special appeal for Pars supporters to get behind the Club and turn out to add their backing to the team. The two leading lights at Dunfermline are issuing a plea for as many fans as possible to get behind the Pars at this Saturday's game against Rangers.

Jim Leishman, Director of Football commented

"We have had a much better start to the season than many had expected and with Dunfermline currently sitting seventh in the league.  They are proving themselves as a team who well and truly deserve to be in the SPL.  It is fantastic that we have had a huge increase in Season Ticket Sales but our walk up attendances have been slightly disappointing. We had over 8,000 fans come and cheer us on against Raith Rovers when we were in the SFL First  Division it would be great to see some of these fans come back and cheer us on in our SPL league games.

Manager Jim McIntyre added:-

"We are really excited at the start that the boys have made and we have gained a number of valuable points which will stand us in good stead for the rest of the season.  I know that's it's a difficult financial climate but it makes such a difference to the boys on the park when we have a big crowd, it really does give them a big boost."

Tickets are still available for this Saturday's game from the DAFC Ticket Office and DAFC Shop on 01383 745909/01383 745900 - the Ticket Office and shop is open from 9 a.m. until 5.30 p.m.
