"I am sure that we can get a good result on Saturday if we keep our heads down and work away.

Ross Millen was in the Pars team that lost 1-0 to Saturday's opponents, Stenhousemuir, when the teams last met back in November. After a win over Ayr United and a Fife Cup victory over Cowdenbeath, the 20 year old says the squad is in the mood for another three points:-

"I think there is a lot of confidence in the group now, they have a bit of belief again. The Ayr United game was the more important and we know that every game is going to be difficult and a bit of a cup final as they say."

The five new signings made by John Potter have given the rest of the squad a boost. Ross said that each one of the five had done really well on the park:-

"They have come together and created a good team spirit. I am sure that we can get a good result on Saturday if we keep our heads down and work away."

Ross knows the new signing Paul George from playing against him in the Scottish Youth Cup Final in May 2013.

"He played on the left against me in the first half and moved to the right for the second half. He is a good player, he is sharp and very tricky. I am sure that he will add a lot to the squad."

David Hopkirk and Ross Millen crossed paths at Hamilton and Ross identified the qualities of being two footed and able to go either way. "He has a goal in him as well and is a good player."

Turning his attentions on Stenhousemuir, Ross feels that they will be no different than a lot of opponents at East End Park:-

"Teams will come here and try and get a result whatever way. We expect that and whatever way they set up, you need to try and beat them. It will be eleven v eleven, you need to go and try and win the game. Whoever taking them on a Saturday I am sure that they will have them ready to go.

"If you are not doing it in training or not doing it in 20s games, then you are not going to play. You need to get your head down, work away and hope to get your chance. There is good team sprit and whoever is put out you want to win the game and get up the league."
