DAFC are sad to announce the passing of former player and club doctor Hugh Whyte

Dunfermline Athletic Football Club have received the sad news that Hugh Whyte passed away on the night of Sunday 8th November.

Hugh, who was a former player and club captain went on to become the club doctor, had been heavily involved with the club recently, becoming the Chairman of the Former Player Association. Hugh was inducted into DAFC's Hall of Fame in 2008 for his great service to the club, holding the record for the most goalkeeping appearances for the club and also the most clean sheets during his 10 years playing with the club.

DAFC would like to extend their condolences to Hugh's family and friends during this difficult time.
