The Fife Cup Semi Final scheduled to be played on Tuesday night at East End Park will see the return to competitive action of Jim McIntyre. The striker signed from Dundee United in the summer has not kicked a ball for the Pars since damaging a disc in his neck during a pre-season friendly at Cowdenbeath.
The 34 year old is keen to assist his team mates beat the drop:-
"It's been a nightmare to be quite honest, You join a new club and you want to make a good impression and, obviously, with it being such a serious injury, I knew I would have to have an operation. It's been terrible."
If he comes through his first game well he could be challenging for a place in the team to be back to play his old club at Tannadice at the end of January:-
"That's what I'm here for, I'm not here to make up the numbers. I've looked after myself so fitness won't be a problem but it will take a few games to get match sharpness."
