Dunfermline Athletic are deeply saddened to hear the passing of former coach, John Ritchie.

John joined Dunfermline in 1999 as head of player development and goalkeeper coach before leaving the club in 2004.

John continued with his involvement with the club up until this year in his role with the SPFL delivering the Modern Apprenticeship Programme in Sporting Excellence to young players.

The thoughts of everybody at Dunfermline Athletic are with his family and friends at this very sad time.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Wednesday 13 June at 3.00pm. to which all family and friends are invited. Family flowers only please but donations may be given at the crematorium for Diabetes U.K. if so desired.
