Dunfermline Athletic have agreed by mutual consent to terminate the contract of goalkeeper Roddy McKenzie.

Roddy Mckenzie signed up on a two year contract on 13th July 2006. He made 16 appearances for Dunfermline, the last in the UEFA Cup tie against BK Hacken back in August this season when he sustained an injury early in the first half.

The 32 year old stopper spent the previous three seasons at Livingston and he made 119 appearances for the Almondvale side.  Roddy was also a Hearts goalkeeper from August 1996 until July 2003.  While at Hearts he was farmed out to Blantyre Victoria and then in 1995, while on loan, the former U21 internationalist helped Stenhousemuir to win the challenge Cup.  He made 54 appearances for the Jambos, won a CIS Insurance Cup winners medal in 2003 at Livingston.

Everyone at Dunfermline wishes Roddy well in his quest to find a new club.
