"When we got promoted last season these were the games that we looked forward - meeting Raith Rovers and Falkirk are the two games that stand out. We are looking forward to going to their place."
Joe`s last two visits to the Falkirk Stadium was as a Raith Rovers player in season 2013-14 but turned out to be defeats and his last win there was with the Pars in March 2011.
"I have some good memories there and fingers crossed we can make another one on Saturday."
The derby game at Starks Park was a huge disappointment for Joe who claimed it was not a great experience:-
"We started well but to lose 2-0 to your local rivals after the fans had turned up in such numbers was a hard one to take.
"When the fans turn up in their numbers it helps us massively. Throughout my career at Dunfermline they always have turned out for all the big games, I am sure that they will do that on Saturday. They will get behind the boys, be that twelfth man to get the three points we need.
"It is a massive game for us and one that we are all looking forward to. The boys are not really used to the AstroTurf but at the end of the day it is eleven v eleven. We know that we have the players and quality to get us the three points."
Falkirk as an established second tier club start favourites against the newly promoted Pars but Joe still feels that his club can be up challenging with the Bairns for a play off place:-
"We have had a bit of a dodgy start, we know that ourselves and not picked up enough points and lost silly goals. We have made mistakes but we live and learn and hopefully if we can clamp down on mistakes, we know that we create chances and score goals.
"Defending goals starts from the front but if we can stop the slack mistakes at the back, I think we have a real good chance. We need to get that consistency we had last season, winning week in week out, giving good performances. Once we get that into the team - consistency - I definitively think we will definitely be up there challenging."
Up until the Queen of the South match Joe had been an ever present but missed a couple of games through illness. He feels that he has done his job - scoring and setting up goals - but he knows that there is more to come.
"Last season I scored 16 goals which is a lot of goals for a wide man. I have only got three plus the goal that I claimed a couple of weeks ago. I am making chances but there is more in the tank.
"We are looking forward to all these big games especially Falkirk. Every game is a tough game, there are no push overs like there were last season."
