No sympathy for any team

Sean Murdoch warns Forfar will come here and have a go.

Sean Murdoch has played almost as many matches for Forfar as he has for Dunfermline and he acknowledged that the Loons will be fighting for their League One lives when they come to East End Park on Saturday.

The Pars keeper was loaned out from Dunfermline to Forfar from August 2005 until December 2006 and having recovered from the back injury that kept him out of the Albion Rovers game, he is available for selection.

"I trained on Thursday and feel 100% fit. David Hutton did excellently on Saturday, he was very, very solid but the manager has the luxury of two excellent goalkeepers. We have pushed ourselves on as we fight against each other to play.

"It is good but fit if selected but I will leave that down to the manager. I want to play and I want to start every game, the manager knows that. We will see what he does."

David Hutton who signed from Ayr United in June made his competitive debut and Sean was very complimentary of the number two keeper's performance:-

"It was difficult surroundings, difficult pitch and a tricky game but what he had to do he did well. That is all you can ask of a goalkeeper at times. Sometimes you are not called into action as often as you would like but for what you have to do you do.

"I was really pleased for David because he has trained hard this season, he has never missed a session. He works his socks off and outside football we are really good friends. I was delighted that he got his clean sheet."

Returning to the Forfar fixture Sean predicted a difficult game:-

"Just because I was there previously I do hope that they stay up. It will be a weird game but they will come here and have a go. They have some experienced players and added more to the team. They will be looking to collect the three points. They need three points but we want to win every game. There will be no sympathy for any team."
