Pars Go Retro!

Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to confirm next season’s programme covers will be going retro!

Over the years the Pars matchday programme has won a host of awards in the programme world for its content and photography, and this season we want to continue that success with a number of new features, including the cover design change.

General Manager, Michael Mlotkiewicz said: “Retro in football in massive business. This is an idea we have looked into doing for the last 3 years, so l am delighted we have it in place for the forthcoming Ladbrokes Championship season.

We plan to have a different retro cover design for each programme this season, League and Cup matches, making them collectable for supporters. The first cover design will be based on the 1979/1980 season."

Inside the programme will retain some of the favourite features, but in addition there will be a new look at player interviews, with a quick-fire set of questions which will provide an interesting and sometimes hilarious perspective on the player in question. Fans too will come under the spotlight and we`ll be looking in depth about how you prepare for match days. To coincide with our retro covers we`ve got a new historic feature as well as a different slant on all matters to do with Scottish football.

The first in our new look programme covers will be available for the upcoming Betfred Cup matches against Arbroath and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, which will be a double issue. The first to feature all the new content will be the Championship league match against Dumbarton on 6th August. The programme will be on sale for £3.
