Preview Stirling Albion

Wednesday, 24th Oct 2007

Craig Robertson and Scott Leitch were the scorers when Dunfermline last won away to Stirling fourteen and a half years ago.

Saturday probably can't come quick enough now for management and players.  The trip to Forthbank gives Stephen Kenny and his players the chance to erase the memory of last Saturday with a solid victory over bottom of the table, Stirling Albion. If history is anything to go by however it might be closer than any of us might like. The record shows that Dunfermline have had the upper hand in league matches against Stirling Albion but not by much.

The Pars desperately need to register their second away win of this season's league.  It wasn't that easy at Dumfries and we have Paul Gallacher to thank for the 90th minute penalty save that sent the three points back to Fife.  Away league form now really needs to be picking up regular points.
