Run for RabWednesday, 6th May 2015
On Sunday 3rd May, six hardy souls set off from Easter Road Stadium to make the 19 mile journey to East End Park.
The 6 hardy souls, 3 on bikes and 3 on foot, made the journey to raise funds for life long Pars fan Rab Sherry and his family.
Rab is a familiar face around East End Park supporting the club for almost 6 decades, through ‘Thick and Thin’.
Unfortunately, He has been in poor health of late after a successful battle with cancer and a severe stroke has left Rab unable to walk unaided. However, this hasn’t stopped Rab attending East End Park to watch the Pars.
Rab’s son Dominic along with Derek Davidson and Steven Nicol ran the distance while Colin Mutter, Derek Davidson snr., and Dave McColl completed it on bikes helping to raise £480 to help Rab and his family.
