"We weren't worthy of being cup final winners but I didn't think they were either.

"Celtic had there chances during the game, but I thought we had rode our luck and got away with it.  We are just disappointed with the goal we lost.  We thought we had a chance.  Going in at half time, we thought we were the better team, it's not often that happens against the Old Firm in cup finals.

"We never really started in the second half to be fair.  We have had a good cup run and I felt that if we had given a wee bit more we could have come away with something today.  Especially as Celtic missed a couple of chances if we had scored it would have given us a massive chance.

"There were guys in our team who hadn't played for few weeks, a lot of tired legs out there and we were missing the whole midfield out there apart from adam Hammill who has been doing really well for us lately. We mixed and matched; we took Scotty Muirhead out of left back and put him to left midfield.  He is possibly the best player we have had at left back for a long time. It was a mis-shaped team but we got on with it.

"You could feel a goal coming in the second half, just dissapointing the Old Firm always get the break.  The  way we had started in the second half we were just hanging on.  We were under a bit of pressure and we never really had a chance in the second half.  You can't really afford to do that against the Old Firm because it is very rarely that you get a break, get the goal and go one up.  It's probably them who are going to do it.

"It's probably the scrappiest goal we have lost in a long time and it has won them the cup.  It hit me, fell to Doumbe, hit Shieldsie and trundled into the bottom corner, it was just an awful goal to lose.  If the guy had scored a thirty yarder you could accept it but the goal we lost we are not happy with.

"You felt that they were definately there for the taking today.  The Celtic fans booed their team at half time, the Cetlic fans don't often boo their team.  They weren't happy and we felt confident at half time.  We felt we had done enough, had played well and were looking forward to the second half.

"We weren't worthy of being cup final winners but I didn't think they were either. They got the goal and whoever got the first goal going into the last 15 to 20 minutes was going to win it.  It was scrappy but any sort of goal would have won it I think.

"We beat a lot of good teams to get here, we didn't get hammered by a team that is Champions League quality. Positives from our performance but at the end of the day we got nothing."
