Whisky and golden goal success

Fundraising total approaches £50,000

DAFC would like to put on records it`s sincere thanks to Ron Spence and family, of St Michaels Tippers, whose match day whisky raffle initiative has now raised over £35,000 for the club.

Started during season 2014/15, Ron purchases and raffles off a unique bottle of whisky signed by the manager during each match day hospitality. On top of this a golden goal competition has helped raised a further £12,000 both wonderfully aided by his wife and daughters.

Vice Chairman Billy Braisby said, " To have raised nearly £50,000 is a magnificent achievement and testament to Ron and his family`s love of our club! When this started out we could have never imagine it would have taken off like it has and we are extremely grateful for their support and enthusiasm.
