Preview Clyde
Wednesday, 9th Apr 2008With Partick and QOS playing Scottish Cup fixtures this weekend, the Pars can go fourth with a win over Clyde.
Clyde were the visitors in December for Jim McIntyre`s first match as caretaker manager, he didn`t win but a 1-1 draw was very acceptable given the torrid time the Pars had experienced through October and November. Back then Clyde arrived at East End Park two points and two places better off than their hosts. Now there`s an eleven point advantage to the Fifers and this time they are two places above the Bully Wee.

Clyde have climbed above Morton in the play off place but sit only three points above the Greenock side with three matches remaining. Morton are at Perth on Saturday where Clyde ended the home side`s year long unbeaten home record last month. Dunfermline are only a point behind Queen of the South. Both Queens and the other challengers for fourth placed finish, Partick Thistle are on Scottish Cup duty this weekend so the Pars can turn up the pressure with a win over Clyde.
